Did you know that extracurricular activities can be the deciding factor in whether your child is accepted or rejected by top US universities?

In US university admissions, extracurricular activities account for roughly 30% of the evaluation weight. But here’s the catch: with over 80% of applicants presenting outstanding academic records, what sets an application apart is often the depth and impact of extracurricular involvement. Your child’s extracurricular profile will be one of the most important factors in determining whether they stand out—or blend into a pile of thousands of others.

To help them build a strong, competitive application, Crimson Education’s experts have created the ultimate guide—a comprehensive resource covering everything they need to know about extracurriculars in the US admissions process, including:
  • The importance of extracurricular activities in the university application process, specifically in differentiating candidates and demonstrating passions, interests, impact outside the classroom, and alignment with the student’s personal narrative.

  • How admissions officers evaluate extracurricular activities.

  • The value of capstone projects and the importance of showcasing a genuine interest in the field of study.

  • Practical tips and strategies for creating a powerful extracurricular profile.

  • Real-life examples of successful activity lists from top US university admits.

If your child is an international student aiming for top universities like Stanford and Yale, this free eBook is an essential resource in their application journey.
